I’m a pastor, writer, and lifelong student of history who believes faith and imagination can meet gracefully. For more than thirty years I’ve served in the United Methodist tradition, walking with congregations through the everyday questions of life and belief.

I also write stories where heritage, mystery, and faith converge — most recently in Paleon: Echoes of an Empire, a novel that blends modern discovery with the echoes of Byzantium.
